day one block one: The green group.

When we got to the AMC cardigan lodge it was raining quite heavily. We all worked together to get all of our stuff off of the cramped bus and into the safe, secure, and dry lodge. Fortunately for us the rain let up enough for us to be able to go outside and explore our surroundings. My group took a short walk down a wide trial to where we began our compass course. How this worked is our wonderful instructor from the lodge gave us compasses and taught us how to use them. After that we got given a booklet that told us exactly to what bearing to set our compasses to, then you wouldn’t believe it…(sarcasm)...we went the way our compassexs pionted us. After that we went back to the lodge and changed out of our gross wet clothes so we could enjoy a delightful dinner. We got ready for bed and listened to Mr.Woolner tell us some enjoyable tales of blackbeard; during one of story he stood upon a table. Then, so suddenly it broke and he fell to the ground, yet still on his feet. Then we went to bed only to have loads of fun in the morning.
