Cardigan lodge is an example of Human Environment Interaction

Location

Cardigan Mt. is located west of Newfound Lake, north of East Grafton, south of Cheever, and east of Enfield. The mountains summit elevation is 3,121ft. The summit's coordinates are N 43 degrees 39 minutes, 22 seconds and W 71 degrees 55 minutes 28.2 seconds. Mt. Cardigan is right next to Firescrew Mountain. The elevation of Firescrew Mountain is 3,027 ft. Cardigan is about 100 ft. taller than Firescrew. The coordinates of Firescrew's summit are N 43 degrees 39 minutes, 11.7 seconds and W 71 degrees 54 minutes 48.7 seconds.

Place

One thing I saw constantly at Cardigan was the cultural geography. The lodge was one example of cultural geography. Before the lodge was present, there were just natural things. Bridges were build across the brooks and streams, and trails were cleared. There were even places set aside for campers. There were picnick tables placed aroun the camp sites for campers to eat off of. At the top of mount Firescrew the was a fire tower. There were also trail markers on the trees to kepp hiker from geting lost.

Another thing I saw at Cardigan was a lot of physical geography. Physical geography is all the natural things on the mountain. On Cardigan there were many different type of trees that were native to cardigan mountain. Many streams and brookes run down the mountain.

We were there for three days. A cold but sunny Sunday . A warm, and windy Monday (no school!) and a rainy Tuesday .
