Day 3 at Cardigan

September 31-2 October2015

By: John J Yellow color group

I woke again to Mr. Woolner saying rise and shine. We had to roll up our sleeping bags and get all of our stuff together. So I went out to Mr. Woolners trailer and put my stuff in there. I got ready for breakfast and came down to eat. We did our final ort report and went to meet our groups for our last hike. We got all geared up and headed out. We did not go too far but we made lots of sketches. Like this one...

Hope let us climb inside a big metal box that was meant to store food. She didn not keep us in there of course but it was fun. We headed up the hill sketching and sketching when David came up with a cricket in his hand. I had always been wanting to eat a cricket. I took the cricket and just put it in my mouth and ate it. It actually was not that bad. When we got to the top of the hill we ate our lunch and Hope read us a story. We then played camouflage. A hide and seek game. I noticed a lot of cultural geography! We saw a very old car that was all rusty and broken and we saw a wheel engine type thing. It was very neat. On the way down I ate 3 more crickets. We left talking about how much fun it was. We got back to the lodge and played captain says. It was kind of like simon says! After that we said goodbye to our instructors and got on the bus. As the bus started moving I looked back to see all of the nice insructors and the wonderful lodge and I knew as soon as this bus got moving, I would hate to se it go.
