When we got off the bus it was as bright as it could be. Hope one of the leaders at the AMC Cardigan lodge counselors got us gathered in a circle which is a region and a (region is a theme of geography) and told us to go out to the field and hang out with everyone for a little bit so the adults could get everything settled. After a little bit when everything was settled we got into groups and played this really fun game. It is where there are 5 to 6 people in a line and there are 6 lines. So, everyone would have a number or maybe two. Hope would then call out a number and when she did you would have to run around everyone there and then go through everyone in your groups legs and dive for a shoe. After we did a couple rounds of that we went and brought all of our stuff to our bunk rooms. After that we found out who our instructors were going to be for the whole entire time we were there. After we knew who our instructors were we went on a little hike. The little hike was long and hard but not really that hard but where we had been hiking was in the mountain regions of New Hampshire. When we got back it was about dinner time so we all ate dinner and learned about what the ORT report and then we went to learn where our bunks and went to sleep until the next day.
