Day 2 Block 2
There are a lot of things that are considered physical geography at Mt. Cardigan. For example, there were a lot streams that we saw or crossed over. They were all very unique in many different ways. One of the streams was very curvy and another was very rocky. Also, there were so many different types of trees and plants. There were white birch trees, hemlock, striped maple and many others. In addition to the trees, the plant types we saw were different types of flowers and bushes. The weather at Cardigan Mountain was either cold and sunny or rainy and cold. There were definitely many mountains including Cardigan. Two other mountains that were surrounding were Orange Mountain and Mt. Fireshrew.
There was quite a bit of cultural geography at Mt. Cardigan. There were buildings that were either on Mt. Cardigan or around it. The three buildings were the Cardigan Lodge, the other lodge and the fire tower that was on top of Mt. Cardigan. In addition, there were many cars that were located at the beginning of the trail to get to Mt. Cardigan. Also, there weren't any schools around but the Hopkinton Middle High School was visiting for the week. There were a lot of people that visit and stay at the Cardigan Lodge and maybe even stay on the mountain. The language that were spoken at the mountain was English.
We were there for 3 days, September 27, September 28 and September 29 , 2015
