On the second day of the Mt. Cardigan trip, we hiked the whole day which is human environmental interaction. The first thing that we did was have breakfast in the dining hall. One of the options was a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar. Once we were done, we got to make and pack our own lunches. Then everybody moved upstairs to grab anything else that they needed for their hike. After everybody was ready to go, we started to hike. All of the different groups went different ways. The first trail that we took was the Manning Trail. We took the Manning Trail all the way to Firescrew and the we took the Mowglis trail to Mt. Cardigan. Every once in a while, we would stop to plot studies in the different areas of the trails. Then on our way down we took the Clark trail down until we hit the Grand Junction. Eventually, started on the Holt Trail then onto the Nature Trail. By the time that we got back everybody was so exchausted. Once we were inside, we had about forty-five to a hour of freetime. In that time we took a shower and put on clean clothes to go down to dinner. We had dinner along with ice cream sundaes. After enjoying the meal, we put on warm layers and went outside for a campfire. We told happy stories and sang campfire songs while also listening to barn owls screeching to each other. After being outside we went inside and Mr. Woolner read two more stories to us before we went to bed. Everybody was so tired, everyone went right to bed. In conclusion, this was how day 2 went for session 1 with a lot of human environment interaction.
