This is a sketch at our stream study. The stream we studied was called Baily Brook.

Day 3

As we awoke that morning Mr.Woolner had us pack and put our luggage in the trailer. We then ate breakfast and my group was on cleanup duty. As usual we meant in our groups region and talked about what we were going to do for that day. That day we were going to do stream studies. This means we were going to test the oxygen,ph levels, and look for biotic organisms. To get to the stream we had to hike part of the nature trail. The stream we were studied was called Bailey Brook. First, we tested the velocity, volume, and the speed of the water. Second, we tested the oxygen then we did the ph and finally looked for biotic organisms. The first step we did by marking 0 feet, 25 feet, and 50 feet. Then we dropped a orange in at 0 feet and timed it all the way to 50 feet. We did this 3 times to find an average. As with the other steps, like testing the oxygen and ph we did each one 3 times. Every time we found an average and wrote it down. After stream studies we sat down and talked about what we enjoyed and how it was. Before boarding the bus and leaving the region of Cardigan and back to the region of Hopkinton, we played a game with Mr.Woolner. The game was doing what Mr.Woolner said it was almost like simion says. I really enjoyed the trip and thought it was fun and an interesting trip.
