My Trip to Cardigan

Mt. Cardigan has a amazing view at the top. You can see Newfound lake when you look at the amazing view. It was windy the day we went for the hike and you could see the waves and boats on the lake. You could briefly see the lodge from the top. While we were reaching the top of cardigan we saw a helicopter land on fire screw right where we were standing before we decided to go on the top of cardigan. The hike up was probably the worst. Everyone was saying that their feet were killing them and also their legs.We took a break and everyone felt better because of the wind at the top of the mountain.reaching the mountain was probably the best of the day. On the hike down my feet were about to fall off I swear. At the lodge I couldn't walk so two of my friends had to carry me down and around the lodge.

Place Paragraph When we were down at the lodge the was white with beautiful windows which made it feel like a house. There beds were really comfortable. I had my bed all made and all comfortable for us to sleep in. When u pull up on your left the is a field that has a fire pit area. That we went to for the songs and the acting out what we did that day. It was a lot of fun when she told the story about the two brothers and the one about the animals learning to work together. When you pull up right in back of you there is a pond/lake, and on the sign it says "Swim at your own risk.” Then right in front of you is the trail to go to the mountain.

Day 1 pargraph On the first day we got off the bus and unpacked our bags out of the trailer. We went to the field and got our energy out and hung out with our friends. The leaders gave us number and we got into groups. We played multiple games and fun activities like, Who can get the shoe faster, pass the shoe, and many other games. We all went on little hunts and walks. At the end of the day we went outside at night and played games. We got blindfolded and we played a games called bat and moth. The game bat and moth is a game where someone is a bat and someone is the moth and they are in a circle trapped together. The bat is blindfolded and moth is not. The bat will say moth and the moth will have to reply Moth because bats have good hearing but not good eyesight. The moth had to dodge the bat to get out of the way and not get eaten. Then we had to get blindfolded and had to trust the person in front of us. to pull us around. That is when the day ended.

Day 2 On the second day we got all of our stuff together and fill both of our water bottles and get warm clothes on. We went outside and to meet with our group. We had to talk about what we would do if someone got hurt. Then we did an activity to get warmed up. She gave us all campuses to work in a group and find things that she listed on a piece of paper. After that she went over a few more things. Then we started walking. We always pick a group leader and a navigator to help the leader with finding the trail to go on. Then there is a niga that picks up all the trash that people leave. Last there is a person who says Stop! Water Break when everyone stops they say “I cheer to getting up this hill without dying of exhaustion!” Then we set off for the hike. We got lost because the navigator was holding the map upside down. We stopped and had a water break when we heard heavy breathing. Along the way we had to stop and plot points and scheach trees and other things. When we got to the top it was breathtaking. the trees looked beautiful and the lake was so realistic from up there. That was one of the best days.

Day 3 On day three we got all of our rain stuff together and filled our lunch bags with: Carrots, an apple, Cookies, and a huge delicious sandwiches. Everything was really delicious. When we went outside to meet with our group it wasn’t raining but as we went on another little hike it started pouring really cold rain. The sound was like a pitter patter on the ground. Our clothes and backpacks were really wet and irritating. When we stopped for lunch it was pouring even harder and all of our food was really wet. I finally found a spot under a tree where it was barely raining. It was really dry under there. On the way back we were really sad to leave but really excited to go home at the same time. I had a really good time and hope to go there again. I want to go in the winter I think it would be really fun.

We were there for 3 days, A really hot sunday, chilly Monday, and rainy Tuesday.
