Mt. Cardigan has many physical features. For one, it has many trees around it. There is a lake, which is called Newfound Lake, and at the summit, you can see many other lakes. There is also a Mountain connected to Mt. Cardigan, and it is called; Mt. Firescrew. There are also rivers and brooks near, and on Mt. Cardigan, like Baileys Brook, for example. There is a very cool place, where Mr. Woolner takes pictures there every year, and I believe that it is called DJs Rock. another physical feature of Mt. Cardigan is: The huge, random rocks. I couldn't figure out how they got there. And those are most of the Physical Features on Mt. Cardigan!
Mt. Cardigan has many cultural features. For instance, there is the AMC Cardigan Lodge, which is where we stayed when we went on the cardigan field trip. Also, there's a fire tower at the summit of Cardigan. On the way down, we saw a High-Altitude Shelter, or at least I think that is what it was called, where you can apparently stay overnight. There are also a lot of bridges, so that we could cross over brooks. there were also these things called Blazes along the trails so that you wont get lost. Then, you also have the things called Carains which lead you to the summit of mountains. While we were going from FireScrew to Cardigan, I saw a smiley face made out of rocks. Lets not forget to mention the trails, of course! And those are almost all of the cultural features of Mt. Cardigan!
Mt. Cardigan is a large mountain. It is located near Mt. Orange, Mt. Firescrew, the AMC Cardigan Lodge, and NewFound Lake, as well as Alexandria. Also, it is near Bristle. In fact, in so close to Bristol, you can see Bristol from the summit. Mt. Cardigans exact location is: 43.6498 degrees N, 71.9148 degrees W. there are many rivers and brooks around Mt. Cardigan, like Baileys Brook. Also, Mt. Cardigan is near a lot of hiking trails.
Also, we were at Cardigan for 3 days; A wonderful Sunday , a dandy Monday , and a rainy, but not too rainy, Tuesday.
