Day 2 Paragraph
On day two, we got to hike Mt. Cardigan, and Mt. Firescrew. on our way up the Mountain, we had to stop and do these things called “Plot Studies,” which is where we put rope in a square section somewhere, and take notes on it. There were a lot of hills, and it was very, very painful. When we were very close the peak of Mt. Firescrew, we hit these things called “False Summits”. They are a physical feature, and They were basically things that looked like peaks, even though they weren’t the real peak. Once we got to the top of Firescrew, we had to hike all the way to Cardigan. There were hills. It was painful. But, it was worth it. When we got to the top of Cardigan, we saw a military helicopter do landing drills. It was really cool. Going down Cardigan was easier said than done. It was ALL down hill, and ? of the way there, my knees had already felt like jelly. Once we got back, we had half an hour of free time. In my freetime, I played Truth or Dare. It was fun. Then, we had to eat Dinner. Then, we got to have a CAMPFIRE!! It was really cool! (We didn’t get to roast any smores, which stinks). Then, we were told a story and had to go to bed.
Also, we were at Cardigan for 3 days; A wonderful Sunday , a dandy Monday , and a rainy, but not too rainy, Tuesday. Index-Click Here
