Red Group Day 2 Block 3
The absolute location of Cardigan Mountain is N:Latitude 43 degrees, 38', 57.9". W:Longitude 71 degrees, 54', 50.7". The elevation of cardigan mountain is 3,158 feet. The relative location of cardigan is between firescrew and orange mountain. it was, like 5 miles from the lodge. At the top of firescrew we saw this sign that was huge, but in the distance. We could not hike orange mountain because we did not have enough time.
On the top of Cardigan Mountain, there is a fire tower that overlooks the amazing view. But also, it is very windy there. We can see the tip of trees, and it feels like we are flying, soaring above the forest. In the distance, there was a line of mountains and a bunch of windmills. Hiking Cardigan was fun, and an awesome workout.
On the inside of the AMC lodge, there were chairs, a table, and a huge cafeteria. On the top floor is where the boys floor was. One floor below, was the girls floor. On the very bottom floor was the mudroom, and the library.
The group of students and I were at cardigan lodge/mountain for 3 days, and the date was September 27, and it was Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
