This is a pictue of Firescrew and Cardigain mountain I drew that I sent to my family.

Mount Cardigan is located in the summit of New Hampshire. It is in the northwestern part of the state, located in the green mountains. Cardigan Mountain surrounded by Orange Mountain, and Firescrew Mountain. The absolute location of the mountain is North, 43.6498 degrees, West, 71.9148 degrees and 3,156' in elevation. A relative location of Cardigan would be north of where we live, Hopkinton or Contoocook, New Hampshire.

The place of Cardigan Mountain is in the Appalachian Mountains of New Hampshire. The place that we stayed at while on the trip was at Cardigan Lodge, a few miles away from Mount Cardigan. While we were on this trip, we hiked two mountains; Firescrew Mountain and Cardigan Mountain. They were both in the summit of New Hampshire, both approximately 3,000 feet in height. For our hike, we went up Firescrew, and then in through the valley of Firescrew and Cardigan, and up onto Mount Cardigan.

We were there for three days, a wet and rainy Wednessday, a sunny Thursday, and a drizzly Friday.

This is a sketch I drew of a diving beetle.

This is a dragonfly nymph that I drew from the pond.

This is my hiking group on the top of Mount Cardigain.
