Day 3 at Cardigan

October 2nd 2015

By Erica L.

We all woke up, got dressed, and went downstairs. My group was setup for breakfast. We had french toast with fruit. To end our day here at Cardigan, we first did a very short hike through a trail in the woods. We stopped at some points to play some games. When we finished the hike, we did an outdoor scavenger hunt activity that was at the end of the hiking trail. During the activity, we learned some more about trees, leaves, and some other plants. We also learned a little about the history of cardigan and the area we were at. When we finally finished that, we went back into the lodge to make sure that we all of our stuff, and it was out of the bunk rooms. When all of the stuff was loaded up, we played one last game together, but with everybody that went on the trip. At last, we had to leave and say good bye to Cardigan Mountain. As the bus left, we all waved good bye to our counselors. I had a great experience during the Cardigan Trip, and believe everyone else did too.

Durring day 3 at Cardigain, there were a lot of different kinds of regions. There were small regions and larger regions. For an exampile of some small regions, in the lodge, there was a sleeping region and an eating region. For larger regions, there was a swimming region (pond) and hiking regions, which are much larger than the regions in the lodge. Several regions we interacted with durring our Cardigain trip.

This is a Scotch Pine that I sketched durring the scavenger hunt.

This is a Frebush leaf I also drew while we did the scavenger hunt.
