Day Two

During the night, one of my roommates threw up in our room. Thanks to Mr.Woolner, who cleaned it up; the room smelled like lemons because of the cleaner that was used. When we got up in the morning, we all got hot chocolate and hung out around the lodge. Then we had breakfast and made our own bag lunches. I brought plenty of cookies for my groupmates on the hike. On the way up Cardigan, we went up the alexandria ski trail. The trail had over 12 massive hills. It was painful. Just when you thought you were at the top there was another big hill. After every hill there was a turn where you thought you were at the top. All of the other groups went up Firescrew and down Cardigan in less time it took us to go up and down Cardigan. On the way up we stopped on the side of Cardigan to eat lunch. The view gave you a taste of what the summit view looks like. On the summit, there is a firetower. As you made your way up the mountain, there were different regions of elevation. You are allowed to go up the stairs but not in the main room. On our way down our group discovered the obama care stump which was kicked over by a fellow group mate. When we got back to the lodge, we all showered and hung out until it was time for dinner. After dinner we met with our groups and then went outside for a campfire. During the campfire, we all did skits with our hiking groups. When the fire was done, we went inside listened to stories and started to go to bed.
