This is a picture of Mout Firescew and Mount Cardigan that I sent to my family.

Location At Mount Cardigan and Firescrew, we stopped at many interesting places. Even the summit. The latitude of Cardigans summit was N 43 degrees 38 minutes 58.8 seconds and the longitude of it was W 71 degrees 54 minutes and 50.9 seconds. The summit of Mount Firescrew was N 43 degrees 39 minutes 21.8 seconds and the longitudewas W 71 degree's 54 minutes and 72.9 seconds. When we were on the saddle of the two mountains there was an owl pellet which was located at N 43 degrees 39 minutes 09.1 seconds, and W 71 degrees 54 minutes 52.1 seconds. There was also an Artist's Conk mushroom at N 43 minutes 38 seconds 43.4degrees,W 71 degrees 54 minutes 18.5 seconds with an elevation of 2 303 ft.

Cultural:

At Mount Cardigan and Firescrew the was a lot of cultural interaction. For example, the Nature Paths and the karens on the tops of the mountains. There were also signs that were on the paths that were man made too. At the top of Firescrew there were a about 20 windmills. Plus, near the base of the mountains there was a lodge called The Cardigan Lodge run by AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club). Also, the paths that we hiked on were man made too because us, the people have to clear goodpaths so others can hike the wonderful mountains. There was also the Alexandria Ski Trail near the bottom of Mount Cardigan.

Physical:

Also, while hiking the two mountains there were lots of physical geography. For example, all of the trees and animals. There were a lot of different types of birds there on the trails. Plus, there was lots of little plants (for example, juniper) and streams. All the mountains and lakes that you could see from the summits were obviously made by nature. Same with rocks, ground, dirt and more.

We were there for there for three days. Sunday September 27th was a sunny day, Monday September 28th was a windy day but it had the sun all through the day, and Tuesday September 29th was a drizzley day with dark clouds in the sky.
