Day 3 at Cardigan The next morning we woke up and packed our bags while waiting for breakfast. Then we had breakfast. After breakfast we went into the woods and on a campsite to practice using compasses. We learned “red fred in the shed” is when the arrow is on the big red arrow and we had to first of all have our base plate pointing out from our belly.Than after we practiced compases we went on a hike the trail the campsite was on. When the trail ended we stopped by a river to eat lunch, and then we played games. After we played games we went back to the campsite so Becka could read us a story about the lorax and then we drew a picture of all the things we saw at Cardigan. Then we walked back to the AMC lodge to get back on the bus and go straight to my cross country home meet at the fairgrounds. The rain on the last day was human environment because when it was not raining hard we didn't wear our rain jackets and when it started to pour we put on our raincoat to stay dry.
