The North and South Pole show a white/blue color that represent cold while southern hemisphere seems to be experiencing more warm surface temperatures than the northern hemisphere is in general. |

More of the lightest yellow color appears on the map (mostly a green color) and the light and dark blue color looks like it is receding north. |

| March:
March through June show a similar transition from one season to the next. The northern hemisphere becomes more absorbing and parts of the southern hemisphere becomes less. |

June shows that the surface of the Earth is rather warm in general at this time. |

July through December shows the opposite transition as February through June. |
