My Wilderness Adventure

Mount Cardigan is located beside Orange Mountain (located in Orange, New Hampshire) and Fire Screw (located in Alexandria, New Hampshire. The Mountain is located in two different towns. Orange, New Hampshire and Alexandria, New Hampshire. The longitude and latitude is 43 degrees 64 minutes 98seconds north, and 71 degrees 91 minutes 48 seconds.

At Mount Cardigan everything's different, from the trails to the nature. When we were on our hike we noticed that there were Scotch Pines that just grew and grew. There were also Ferns, Lichen and more. One thing that popped out at us was where the Shelf Mushrooms. The Shelf Mushrooms can grow on dead and alive trees.

While we were at mount cardigan there were things not just all from mother nature, there were things that were made from man too. The trails weren't just there to start off with. Mount Cardigan wasn't always a hiking mountain, it was a ski resort. During one hike we went up a ski trail and found a old car just sitting there.

My group (session 2) was there for three days, Wednsday , Thursday and Friday . The first day that my session was there was Wednsday it was very rainy. The second day, Thursday, was beautiful. Nice and sunny, nice little breeze and warm. The last day. Friday, was a little chilly. We had a breeze, it was cloudy and tiering.
