Green Group
On the second day of our Cardigan trip we hiked the mountain itself. My group didn't get to do Fire Screw even though everyone wanted to. While we hiked we came along different and unusual plants. Some were called, the Artist's Konk, Birch Polypore and a Scotch PIne. As we hiked up the mountain,we stopped to play games, such as "Find the clip" and "You've been clipped". As we reached the top we realized that we were the first group to reach the top. On to trip down we didn't really do anything. We decided not to go down Fire Screw so we hiked down one of the ski trails. We didn't play any game but we did do some research on the plants in the the boxed out area. when we were finished with that we did some "parkour" things (jumping off of rocks in a cool way). Once we reached the bottom we got free time. As the night before, the boys did football and the girls took on cheerleading again. That night for ORT we only had .2. After dinner we had a pit fire. The first thing we did there was listen to Hope do some bird calls. Even though nothing replied, it was still awesome to listen to her call out for birds. The second thing that we did was advertizing for Mount Cardigan Lodge. My group was the best ( in my perception). Theodore was the narrator, I was the one of the hikers and Ryan was my backpack.
