On day 1 of the Cardigan trip it was rainy. We got all of our belongings off of the bus and got inside as quick as we could. Once we did that we took off all of the weat clothes that we were wearing. Such as, sweat shirts, shoes, socks and more. Once we were settled down my group went on two short hikes. The first one was the nature trail. We went around and collected leaves so we wouldn't have to sketch in the rain. For the second hike we did "The Mysteries Of The Trees" hike, which was a ski trail made by the humans. Also there was a car at the top of the mountaint. It brought us to a old car. The car pulled skiers up the mountain and then they would ski back down the hill. Once we were done with the hike we went back to the lodge. Once we were back we did some sketching and then it was free time. During free time the boys would play to-touch football. But on the other hand the girls would be their cheerleaders, including me. The score was 21-27 and out of nowhere we were told that we had to head in and meat at our groups meeting places. Once we were all situated in our meeting places the our group meeting spots. We started to talk about ORT. ORT is our reaming tidbits. The first night we had 1.7 lbs. of ORT. Once we were done with dinner we had to meet with our groups again. We would then talk about the night activity that we were going to do. Robin put blindfolds on and we would all line up and hold a rope. Robin guided us until we were at the spot that we were going to begin our night activity. We played Bats and Moth. As we finished the game up we went inside got our PJs on and went down into the living room area where Mr. Woolner would tell us a story called Blackbeard. When the story was done it was time to go to bed.

On our groups nature trail, we came across a snag tree. The reason we call it the snag trees, is because it is the remain of a old tree. |
| This is a sketch of a Sugar Maple. While we were on the Nature trail we took a Sugar Maple leaf to sketch because it was raining. |

This is a branch of a old apple tree. The apple tree was able to produce apples at one point but now it cant. It is too old and it just fell apart. We arnt sure what type of apple tree it was because there is no spasific type of apple tree, every year it produces a different type of apple. Like one year it could produce a Macintoush, or a Granny Smith apple. | |
This is the first sketch that I did, it is of a White pine. |
