Day two block 3 Red group
Location paragraph
The absolute location of Cardigan is N 43 degrees, 38 minutes and 57.9 seconds as the latitude and 71 degrees 54 minutes, 50.7 seconds as the longitude. I got this absolute location from the summit and the medallion. The relative location is northwest of Hopkinton and north of Orange in New Hampshire. It is located in Grafton county in the town Alexandria
At Mount Cardigan we went to a stream but it was so shallow it was more like a trickle with pools of water in different places as we went down. While we were there we were doing the stream studies and my dad saw something moving around in a pool we all went over quitly and saw a brooke trout. It was so small that it reminded my of a gold fish. But this little fish was a dark color and before we could observe it it swam off. While we were there we also saw a dead mouse floting in the stream, someone scooped it up in a net and ran over to show it to everyone in the group. The mountian was covered in trees and Indian cucumbers and everywhere you stepped there was more to be discovered.
At Mount Cardigan we slept in a lodge at the base of the mountian. The lodge had bunk beds in the rooms and coat hooks. When you walked in there were coaches and a room with and book shelves. We sat in there one day and ate lunch while we read the Lorax.
Me, my friends and a bunch of others where at cardigain for three days, and the days were Sunday, Monday , and Tusday September 27-29
