This is the front of my postcard that I sent to my Dad.This is a picture of Mt. Cardigan and Mt. Firescrew from a birds eye view.

Location:

At Firescrew when we got to the top of Mt.Firescrew and took an Absolute location which was N 43 degrees 39 minutes 21.8 seconds and W 71 degrees 54 minutes 27.9 seconds. Then we were told to get a relative location which when I looked at a map it was East of Newfound Lake and asked my mom some more information and she told me that it was in Grafton County. When Mr. Woolner first mentioned that Mt. Firescrew was near Newfound Lake I was very happy. My family always goes up there and I never realized that the mountain we always saw up there was Firescrew.

Place:

On the way up I always looked at the mountain ash that grew up the long sides. We saw an owl pellet that Ronald had found. When we got to the top I immediately noticed the color of the trees. I loved the lakes we saw from the top and some animals flying around the mountains. We also saw Firescrew Mountain. It was so colorful from at the top.

On the way down the mountain we went down the Alexandria Ski Trail which was made by the people at the lodge. We also had the AMC lodge that was made neatly. We also had a bridge that was by a stream that we rested at. There weren't many stores nearby but we saw them.

We were there for 3 days. It was beautiful all three days. Sunday had no rain and was sunny, Monday had no rain and was also sunny, And Tuesday had a little rain. I was glad to have no school and loved all three days.
